It's been a busy week in the Pitsea Running Club Grand Prix with Chase The Sun at the Olympic Park 5k race on Wednesday evening and the Ingatestone 5, 5 mile race on Sunday morning.
Wednesday night and the Pitsea Running Club runners went all out at Grand Prix race number 2,, Chase the Sun @ Queen Elizabeth Park. 5k. I reckon we totally smashed it with Adam Stow, Dave Beatty and Cheryl Macdonald all coming first in their age categories and me coming second in my age category.

Ingatestone 5
A very undulating (very hilly) 5 mile race taking in the scenic countryside of Ingatestone. I had been warned about 'that hill' at mile 4 but it really wasn't too bad in my opinion - more a short incline. But what goes up must go down and we all experienced a very enjoyable downhill finish.
