CLUB RUN
On Friday evenings we enjoy a sociable hour of running. There are various pace groups that cover anything between 4 to 6 miles. This is an excellent way to start your weekend.
When
Every Friday, meet at 6.20pm for a 6.30pm start.
Where
Honey Pot (Harvester), Festival Leisure Park, Basildon, Essex, SS14 3TJ. Free parking.
The run
Run Leaders plan routes that vary week by week. Each group runs as a collective ensuring that no runner is left behind. Our Club Runs are known for their inclusiveness, with all standards of runners encouraged to join.
What you need
In the darker evenings you must wear something reflective and/or wear a running light so that you are visible.
Toilets are available and a bar for post run rehydration, which is an excellent chance to chat with other members.
