We use parkrun takeovers to support our local parkruns and to promote our running club, and share a piece of cake.
There is nothing we love more than supporting fellow parkrunners on a Saturday morning. When we come together we bring a lot of cheer, fun and positive vibes.
What’s It All About?
Over the years, parkrun takeover has helped attract many Pitsea Running Club members and built friendships and memories within the running community.
Throughout the year, our club volunteers to give something back to parkrun by ‘taking over’ an event alongside the usual Core Team. All of the volunteer positions are filled by club members. The club also offers pacer volunteers to help parkrunners achieve a time goal or Personal Best.
